The site is about 45 minutes outside Xi,an with the Li mountains behind it. It's a really lovely site, apparently chosen by the emperor for his burial area because of the good fung shui. This is the first time we've seen terrain other than flat. It's a treat. - Peggy
After seeing the Terra-Cotta Army in person, it was so exciting to see in the June 2012 National Geographic, an article by Brook Larmer depicting what the warriors would look like in their original colors.

that is a very harsh life but msny people had to live through it because of his rule of leaugilisim, this was a haresh evil way of rule many died to be his manikin army,but alot more died who fell while building the great wall of china, crushed to death no one could save them.
