Flora and Fauna

There are so many flowers planted all over Shanghai -- roses,
marigolds, pansies, begonias, snapdraons, zinnias, petunias,
geraniums, impatiens, even azaleas. They're in hanging baskets on
lightposts, in flower boxes along the highway, planted in the medians,
and climbing walls in public spaces. Paige's pictures capture their
vibrant colors. We haven't seen anyone tending the flowers anywhere
today. Maybe they work under cover of the night...

Also lots of sycamore, ginkgo and even a few magnolia trees.
